On friday I left for Scotland to see my good friend Olly. After a good 10 hours in the midget stopping off for filling up and snacks i made it to ollys (north of Edinborugh), it was about 1 in the morning but we decided it be best to go for a walk and we climed the first hill of the weekend, chilled on top and caught up with each other (t'was very awesome)
Saturday we started our day off with a full english breakfast and then headed off to a mountain Olly wanted to climb with me, i think it was about 3000ft or so, but on the way to the mountain we got distracted and decided to take oll's land rover off roading, we managed to get that thing up some really steap hills!
We also found a nice water fall that we chilled next to for a while too, and had fun and giggles crossing the river on stepping stones.
After we'd finished messing about we finally climbed the mountain and the view was amazing! It was about 2 hours to the top but well worth it.
That night we camped at the bottom of queens view and it was awesome, we had a nice camp fire and the night was so warm we slept outside next to the loch.
Sunday we just took it easy, watched some films and chilled at some nice view points near to perth.
I left olly's on monday at about 7am, stopped at the Falkirk wheel for a bit, then drove the midget home, taking a nice detour through the peek/lake district.
The midget (gracie) made it in one piece despite the fuel pump threatening to pack up towards the end of the trip, and the wipers not working when it rained.
Really looking forward to our gig on thursday
The pic's are of olly having a swim (lol), the land rover having it up a really steap hill.
