Cool show last night, had a good time on stage and off. We worked with sound guys that we knew and it makes so much difference when there is someone good doing your sound.
I sometimes forget that people who don't play in bands often don't realise that there is a world of difference between the sound coming out of the big speakers in front of the stage and what the band can actually hear....it can get tough on stage when you can't hear very well (that might sound odd with the huge speakers that bands always have, but sometimes the noise of one instrument just obliterates the others on stage and you have to work really hard to work out what the hell is going on). Anyway, thanks to Mark and everyone he works with for always doing a good job for us - we do appreciate it. In fact I appreciate every good sound guy I have ever worked with - they are a godsend.

Back to more normal things - it's not 100% confirmed yet, but odds are we will be back down south in a few weeks with [spunge] which will be cool, they are nice guys and looked after us really well last time we met up with them, we also know the promoter from last summer and he looked after us well too :o) All good....just gotta get it 100% confirmed.

Met up with some guys who run a management company the other day. They came to watch us at a local show. Not sure if anything will happen - they seemed to have their hands full with some other acts, but we are currently looking for help with the booking side of things - there is only so much the three of us can do. I'll keep you posted if anything happens with that.

Hey - how normal is this entry?? Weird, huh? For once my mind isn't racing too hard and i'm just winding down at the end of the week. Think i'm gonna have an easy weekend of it, just take it easy and hang out. Hope you get a chance to do the same.
