Hey, it's been a little while since I posted. I hope you are good. At this exact moment I am listening to rough mixes of the new songs. Rough mixes is a bit of an understatement - they sound insane, with some guitars super-loud and some voices too quiet to hear. They are just reference copies so we can work out what we want to add before we start mixing, but it's cool to have a the songs to listen to.

We are taking a few days off from recording to rehearse for the show this Friday, I am looking forward to playing a real show...don't get me wrong, i heart the studio in a big way, but playing live is still what it's about.

So what have I been doing other than posting here? Well I just moved to a new place so shifting boxes of stuff around has been a pretty day-to-day thing. I like the new house, but i'm still getting everything sorted so I feel a little odd but it's getting better every day.

As well as the practical stuff I have been treated like shit by someone I trusted...and it felt horrible and still hurts which is even worse. Oh, and i've traded sunrises in for dead silence recently, I figured you wouldn't mind....nothing else seems to bother you.

I hope to god that the people scanning these words for their names read the lyrics to the new songs, you are in there....even if you don't know it. If you've got nothing to say in person, then neither have I, but final words are my speciality and they're on their way.

I gotta go, it's late and I have more boxes to unpack in the morning. I'm sorry if I seemed a little bitter, but that's just the taste in my mouth right now. I'll be back sooner and will hopefully have better words to say.
