You can sell any dream to me.

Just finished work for the night and now I have to go and finish the final sets of lyrics for the album. Yes, you heard me right...the FINAL ones. There are only a few verses missing from the whole thing so I am going along filling in blanks with words...which is way harder than writing from scratch as you gotta fit in with the theme, rhyming patterns and point-of-view (i, we, us, they etc) that's already been done (although I have been mixing POV's all the way through by choice and accident..it's all just a happy jumble of words that fell from my head).

Anywaaaaaayyyy.....on to the actual point of this post, which is that you should buy/download/steal/obtain via whatever medium you feel appropriate a copy of Jessie by Joshua Kadison. It is an incredibly cheesy song, but one that has fond memories for me - and that I've always liked. I finally remembered to download it today and have proudly loaded it onto my iPod for many hours of sing-along delight.

People were talking about guilty-secret songs the other day, songs that you like but are too scared to admit to anyone, for fear of being laughed at. I do not have these songs, I am proud of every song I like - no matter how cheesy. You gotta believe in your own choices, otherwise what's the point?
