Went up to Nottingham over the weekend for Kev's gf's birthday weekend. In our time, we've crashed around a lot of places, including a lot of uni flats - and that was one of the nicest places to hang out, everyone was super-nice to us and made us feel welcome....we got back at like 2 in the morning and woke everyone up and they were still cool with us..so thank you to everyone who we met. We played singstar, ate cake, drank home-made malteser milkshakes (told you they were good hosts) and got drunk.

Went to Rock City that night - always wanted to go and it was really cool. Pretty typical heavy-rock playlist but they had really hot podium dancers and you know I'm a sucker for that every time. Would definitely head back. In our home town, we pay the same amount to get into place a quarter of the size (if that) and with less rooms and more expensive drinks.

Back to work this week. I am trying to get the rest of my stuff out of the way so I can hit the studio later this week. Wasn't really happy with anything I managed to get done at the end of last week, but you gotta keep going right?
