Remember how it felt the first time?

You know what I ate today? Fruit Pastille's. I seriously haven't had them for years and used to be my favourite sweet when I was a kid. Been thinking a bit recently about how I must have changed over the years, but in my head I feel exactly the same. Re-read an old notebook thing I used to have when I was a kid and although I could remember vividly every event in it, I look back on it through an adult's (if that's what I qualify as these days) eyes, the impact of it all fades over time. It's been a while since I've felt like I've done anything for the first time. I am a routine recently.

I'm not complaining by the way - life is good and I regularly count myself among the lucky few to be living a good life and doing what they want. In my own way I try and live with passion for what I love and tolerance for everything else. How well I am doing is up for debate, but I am trying.

So we didn't get tickets fro the Reading Festival this year, which has me bummed out, but we'll end up doing something else instead...I will miss the bands though. We can get drunk and hang out anywhere, but seeing that many bands in one place has it's definite advantages.

I gotta go - said to Dan i'd be at the studio for 4 and I have a load of stuff to do before then.
