So I bought (yes bought, with money...) the Valencia record last night when I got home. Giving it a full listen through this morning and it's pretty good. To be honest, I am a sucker for the opening hook - I was sold as soon as I heard it on another bands website.

It was my gf's birthday this weekend just gone, so we had hung out with friends on Saturday night..played Singstar, ate a buttload of food and scared the crap out of her dog with balloons and bad dancing. (we didn't mean to scare him, but we are very bad dancers).

I am assuming Dan made it out alive from all of this, he was gone the next morning when I got up.

On Sunday, we went to watch 300 - which blew me away - go and check it out if you get a chance. It was violent, but kept me hooked all the way through.

The record is just plugging along - I spent like two hours last night working on the intro for Fireworks and nothing that I did was worth keeping. That's two hours down the tube. Demoralising to say the least.
