I don't know if that's why he got fired or not, but the poem is cute. What really made me laugh was when I looked at the 'video responses' on the YouTube page. Such random people saying the weirdest stuff...who takes time out to do that? Am I worse for watching it? I fear the answer may be yes, but it was funny.
