So despite spring officially being here, it is snowing hard outside my window right now. Regular readers, or anyone who has ever met me, will be well aware of my hatred of cold weather and thus my dismay at the current cold snap. I have been invited on more skiing/snowboarding holidays in my life than I can remember and I absolutely none of them have appealed to me - why the hell would I want to surround myself with snow??

Happy birthday to my very good friend Maunder - some of you might have met him on schools tour (although we tended to call him Andrew to make him seem more professional) - and he is without doubt one of the best people to wander this little world that we're all sharing. We all headed off, in traditional fashion, to town last night where we got too drunk and talked too loudly about things that I now can not even remember but seemed vitally important at the time. It being easter, a lot of our friends were back home from all around the country and it was great to see them - they are all doing a variety of different things which impress me. I remember many of these people being in high school and fighting about someone pushing into the lunch queue, the fact that they are now changing the world in their own way is nothing short of brilliant (none of them went on to be dinner-hall monitors so they seem to have forgotten the issue they had with inappropriate queue-jumping back in the day).

Things have been going so well recently, we are about to announce a really cool competition in conjunction with the guys over at Engineer Records who have been really great in helping us get it all set up. The prizes are killer so go sign up to our street-team right now!! They are also keen to work with us so we may put together an EP or something with them later in the year - we'll see what happens.

By the way, I read about a million blogs from a variety of people - I love seeing little glimpses into people's lives, I'll bet you do too - you're reading this aren't you?? Anyway, if you keep a blog let me know and I'll come by and check it out.
