So I rolled out of bed this morning and went straight down to the studio to start on vocals for a new song that we are recording. Dan and I spent last night re-writing the first verse which is frustrating as I'd already done a days worth of work writing and recording some extra parts for it...but the new parts sound better so it was worth it all in the end.

I have recorded a whole bunch of the lead vocals for the song, and I am just taking a break to catch up on my emails, day job etc. before heading back into the studio on my own to try and work out some cool harmonies.

This song already sounds better than the tracks we put on the album, and I want the vocals to be a lot "nicer" this time round so I'm gonna be putting the hours in to try and make that happen.

The full name of the song is "It's not doing it, it's living it down that's the problem" but as nobody will ever bother to write that out on a set list, it's just gonna be known as "Living It Down".

I didn't tell as much of a story in this song as I did in "I Am The Sun" (which is still available to everyone on the street-team), but I am trying to vary the lyrics so you'll have to just wait for more straight-up lyrical stories about my life. I do have some ideas though, so stick around.
