they won't catch me and you

So i'm just about to head out, but i'm sitting on my fat ass and letting my lunch digest before I do anything else.

Street-team is coming on slowly, it's been a little while since i've used some of the programming muscles in my body so they are a little slow but they are warming up nicely. If one kid uses it, it will be totally worth it.

Drums are finished for the album now - there are a couple of extra parts that Kev will need to play but I think we're pretty much done. They sound better than they have done on anything else we've released.

There is a video of Kev recording his last drum part on our new YouTube account. Check it out here.

I am running low on new music at the moment - been listening to Arctic Monkeys for most of today, they have a new tour diary thing up here, and also watched the Say Anything acoustic stuff that Dan found here.

This has been my view for the past 3.5 weeks:

LDN

So me, dan and cara (my gf) made our way down to London on Thursday afternoon for the weekend. We were due to see three shows and hang out with our friends who live in the area. This plan pretty much went out the window on thursday morning after I got a call from dan asking if I had the tickets for friday night as he couldn't find them....long story short, he forgot to buy them in the first place, but convinced himself he had....laugh it up, coz it wasn't funny.

Anyway, we had fun either way. Saw Hit The Lights on Thursday at the Barfly, which was loud, small and fun. Drunk with friends on friday night...well done to my friend Jack who had just done well in an exam that day (I was with three trainee solicitors for most of the night, people who actually have qualifications rather than my dumb ass that just talks a big game but doesn't actually have any letters after anything).

Caught New Found Glory on Saturday, really cool as usual...not sure, but I think that was like my seventh NFG show...consistently an amazing live band.

We all made it home in one piece, thank you to Ben, Laurie, Rambo, Ryan, Jack & Holly (and their flatmates), Rania, the drunk guy that didn't hurl on ben in the end, the guy who freestyle-mc'd for 20 minutes on the bus and everyone else who made us laugh on our mini-holiday.

Hope your weekend was as chilled out as mine. How are you by the way, I am pretty much on top of everything right now so if you haven't been in touch recently drop me a line,

Max.
