Just bought the new Paramore album and waiting for it to download. I checked out the album preview on PureVolume and the crowd vocals at the end alone had me sold.

Been working on the new band website pretty solidly for the past few days. There is a big music event in our home town on Sunday and we will be there with vouchers which give people money off anything on the new store...but for that to work, the new store has to be working. Not an easy job, but I'm getting there - just need a couple of late nights.

Rehearsals got back to normal on Wednesday and wrote a new song which I like a lot already. It reminded me that Kev is a better drummer than pretty much everyone and that Dan plays what I have in my head a lot of the time without me even saying anything. Good fun.

It's weird, when I needed the words - I had to work for them. Now that things are quieter, they race through my head. Always the way though right?

So it's been about a month since I posted here...been working very hard on getting the album done. I won't bore you with the details but it has been a frustrating experience at every step.

We played a show in Ipswich last night for the first time in months and it felt great to be playing new songs, hear everyone singing along with old ones and finally get some confidence in my throat back (been having some voice problems recently due to my skipping warm-ups coz they're boring...discipline is hard).

A few of us attempted to have a night out after the show, but this town dies after 11pm for people who don't wanna dress up as someone else. So we made it home and I fell asleep and dreamed about being chased which makes for a restless night.

I am tired and thoughtless right now, I'll post back up here when I get my head together.
